Drug and alcohol testing must be done correctly to protect both the company and the staff. Using best practices and ensuring that proper procedures are adhered to for every test is important.

All drug and alcohol testing training programs are formulated and delivered by some of the most experienced and knowledgeable people in the field today.

Urine Collector Training

This course is recommended for individuals who require certification in urine collection. This training teaches collectors the proper procedures for specimen collection, handling, and transfer to ensure error-free, challenge-proof collections in compliance with U.S. DOT, Australian Standards AS/NZS 4308:2008 or other industry standards. Procedural and proficiency training will be included.

Urine POCT Training

This course is recommended for individuals who require certification in point-of-collection testing.
Prerequisite: Urine Collector Training.

Qualified urine collectors will learn the proper procedures to conduct non-DOT urine specimen collection for point-of-collection testing, handling, and transfer to ensure error-free and challenge-proof collections in accordance with industry standards.

Oral fluid testing procedures and proficiency will also be covered in this course in accordance with Australian Standards AS 4760:2006 Procedures for specimen collection and the detection and quantitation of drugs in oral fluid

Breath Alcohol Technician Training

This course is recommended for individuals who require certification in breath alcohol collection and testing. This training prepares breath alcohol technicians to conduct breath tests in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (US DOT) Alcohol Testing Procedures Rule, 49 CFR Part 40 and industry standards. It includes procedural rules and manufacturer-specific evidential breath testing device proficiencies.

For organisations that require compliance with Australian Standards, we will train you on alcohol testing equipment that is compliant with Australian Standards AS 3547.

For organisations that require compliance with US DOT standards, we will train you on alcohol testing equipment that is within the confirming list of Evidential Breath Testing (EBT) devices that are allowed to perform confirmation tests under US DOT 49 CFR Part 40: Procedures for Transportation Workplace Drug and Alcohol Testing Programs

Designated Employer Representative (DER) Training

A Designated Employer Representative (DER) receives test results and other communication for the employers regarding the testing process. Furthermore, the DER is an employee authorized by the employer to take immediate action to remove any employee safety-sensitive duties and make decisions regarding further testing and evaluation processes. The DER is an important component of a Drug and Alcohol testing program who will be handling many aspects of the program including record keeping, arranging for reasonable suspicion testing, and ensuring that the company is in compliance with the Drug and Alcohol Testing policy.
